Brently Heilbron, a native Texan, has twice collaborated with director Robert Rodriguez on Netflix's We Can Be Heroes and the experimental $7,000 film project, Red 11. Brently has written and performed songs for the emo puppet band Fragile Rock, including a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR. Brently began his career performing stand-up comedy at the age of 15 and has emceed nationwide including events for Paul McCartney and George Takei. He has appeared on television in The Leftovers and Friday Night Lights and served as producer and host for the PBS comedy series Stand Up Empire.
