Daniel Fernando Acosta Sr. was born & raised on Detroit's West-Side on Joy Rd and Patton St (8269 Patton.)A Latino man with Mexican-Indian influences. He was named after his grandfather Fernando Acosta Jr. a hardworking postal worker and WW2 vet. He raised 6 children one of who was named Andrew Acosta, Daniel's father. Early In his life, he started off on the wrong foot. He came from a household where the word 'love' rarely existed. Daniel admits he was the 'worst of the worst and very disrespectful'. Daniel was full of hate with the heart of a marine. Being from Detroit and a marine family, he grew up in a war zone. In the late 80's and early 90's gangs, drugs and violence were at an all time high. The hate got him through a rough childhood and in turn he was respected by his peers. He experienced life a lot differently growing up in Detroit, living in a predominantly all black neighborhood. He acquired a deep voice with a southern draw. He saw his first taste of suburban life downriver experiencing racial In-differences. All of these experiences molded him into his authentic self he became today. Growing up he made a lot of friends however received much criticism due to his accent. Daniel say's "People would say, Why do you talk like your black?" He learned to use his dialect to his advantage and has been seen as very versatile on and off screen. He believes everything happens for a reason and is a firm believer in god and was raised going to a catholic church. He later relocated to Canton, Michigan where he found a new walk of life filled with cultured diverse people who often stated, "Oh, You have an accent where are you from?" This is where he started to truly appreciate people for who they were. It opened his eyes to start working on his speech and before he knew It, he could relate to all walks of life. He mastered this by switching between his native tongue to a crisp clearer professional way of speaking. He is the President/Owner/Operator Of Daniel's Heating & Cooling LLC based out of his hometown of Detroit,Michigan. The company expands statewide as well as Ohio & Illinois.
