Ryan C. Burney is an American actor & writer who studied and worked in Los Angeles, California for over ten years before moving to Atlanta. Originally from Jacksonville Florida, Burney grew up playing several sports, bagging groceries at Publix, and working in home construction before joining the U.S. Air Force . Shortly after receiving an Enduring Freedom ribbon as an Airman, Burney followed his passion for the arts in motion picture. Upon his arrival to Hollywood, he immersed himself in several acting workshops, groups, and classes to sharpen his skills all while bartending on Melrose and in Beverly Hills. On the set of Semi-Pro, actor Matt Walsh introduced Burney to Upright Citizen Brigade for improv classes. That year Burney joined SAG and continued his training with Will McLaughlin at UCB learning long form improv. After an audition on the Paramount lot for a re-occuring role on Saving Hope, Burney decided he wanted to better himself and to be more prepared.
