Stéphanie is a bilingual writer-director with a love of elevated genre films, especially science-fiction and science-driven stories. She grew up in Brittany, on the west coast of France, and started her career working as a script editor and screenwriter for French TV. Then she moved to America to study filmmaking at UCLA. Upon graduating she relocated to London to develop contained elevated genre films through her production company Frenzy Films. Her debut feature film "The Quiet Hour", a sci-fi thriller starring Dakota Blue Richards, premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh and vied for Best British Film at Raindance. "The Quiet Hour" premiered on Sky Cinema in the UK in 2016 and is available on Amazon Prime in the U.S. As a writer-director, she is developing "Ice", a contained sci-fi thriller which was selected for the 2020 Sofia Meetings, Bifan's NAFF Project Event and Frontières co-production market at Fantasia. Stéphanie is an alumna of Berlinale Talent and IFP Emerging Narrative in NYC. A world traveler, she has lived in Norway, Germany and Canada before calling London her home.
