Tom Komisar is a writer, actor and musician. A lifelong fan of horror, Tom began his journey into independent filmmaking by writing scripts for short films that he and his friends would film on their camcorders. He would eventually write the screenplay to his first full length feature, Night of the Dolls. The script would lead to a partnership with director Daniel Murphy from HM&M Films. And after the release of Night of the Dolls, Tom and Dan spent the next few years writing, directing and acting in their own films such as House of Whores Part 1 and 2 and Blood Moon River. During this time, Tom began to explore his love of acting and appeared in such films as The Hospital 2, Don't Fuck in the Woods 2 and Hell's Bells. It was after seeing a movie called Dolly Deadly that led Tom back to the writer's chair and set a course for the next chapter in his life. After reading that Dolly Deadly director Heidi Moore was interested in doing a sequel, Tom jumped at the chance. And after a brief conversation with Heidi, he was given the job as screenwriter for the sequel that would become Kill Dolly Kill. Early in the writing process, they both agreed that the movie needed its own original songs that the actors could perform to. Using his musical skills, Tom began writing the songs that would fill the soundtrack to Kill Dolly Kill. Heidi Moore's production company, Wretched Productions would soon team up with Lloyd Kaufman and Troma Entertainment. And the rest, they say, is history.
