After attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Kentucky-born Tom Powers signed with Vitagraph Pictures at 21 years of age, in 1911. He stayed there for two years, then shortly thereafter traveled to England, appearing there in both stage productions and films. When he returned to the US he made a few more pictures, but stopped making movies in 1917 and concentrated exclusively on stage work. He didn't appear onscreen again until 1944, when he acceded to Billy Wilder's request to play Mr. Dietrichson, Barbara Stanwyck's doomed husband, in Double Indemnity (1944). He made up for lost time over the next 12 years, appearing in dozens of pictures--often as a detective, army officer, District Attorney or other authority figure--until 1955, when he died of heart failure in November of that year (his last film, The Go-Getter (1956), was released after his death).
Tom Prichard was born on 18 August 1959 in El Paso, Texas, USA. He is an actor, known for WWF SmackDown! (1999), WWF Wrestling Challenge (1986) and WWE NXT (2010).

He recently completed his latest acting role playing Private Love, in Just Noise (2020), telling the true story of the British Government's cover up of military intervention during the struggle for independence in Malta. Tom has starred in London's West End productions of Tory Boyz (by James Graham), Prince of Denmark, and Romeo & Juliet. Tom was selected to train with the National Youth Theatre REP Company, he was one of 15 actors selected from around the UK; working in collaboration with the National Theatre, BBC, Royal Shakespeare Company. He wrote his first short film Breaking the Circle in 2014. Tom considers himself a versatile filmmaker - and enjoys his time in front of and behind the camera. He now develops films with a clear mission to create films which uplift, inspire and heal audiences.
Tom's ability to deliver a powerful performance is not affected, but rather drawn from his real life experience. He grew up in the remote, unpopulated canyons of the Rocky Mountains doing things most of us only see in movies, like riding horses, breaking wild mustangs, driving cattle and training wild animals. He became a sponsored motorcycle racer and a world champion MMA fighter. He traveled the world in the occupation of bodyguard and "executive protection". But Tom's life-long dream was always set on becoming a filmmaker, and he made that dream come true and he figured out how to bridge the gap between reality and film by seeing the world through a camera lens: as grip, gaffer, camera operator, second unit director, director of photography, producer and director. His physical power, strength, agility and coordination are legendary, and his stunt resume impressive. His commitment to acting training led Tom to immerse himself in classes, workshops, private coaching, linguistics, improvisation, comedy, and Meisner techniques.
